He first came to Mongolia in 1997. Currently he resides permanently in Mongolia. He spent his 17 years for founding and funding in Mongolian natural resource sectors. Moreover, he was country manager for Ivanhoe Mines the time of the Oyutolgoi discovery. He was co-founder and executive director of the Mongolian Mineral`s Development Foundation and founder and former CEO of Petro Matad, the first Mongolian company to be listed on an International Stock Exchange. Today, Dough Mcgay working as resource consultant in Ulaanbaatar.
