(Ulaanbaatar) Jan 27, during yesteray's Cabinet session members have approved the renewed criteria for the student stipend eligibility. According to the new rules students have to have higher GPAs, for instance:
- Bachelor degree students criteria increased from 2.0 to not less than 3.0,
- Master degree students criteria increased from 2.8 to not less than 3.2,
- Doctorate degree students criteria increased from 3.0 to not less than 3.5.
Also
- 50 percent stipend criteria increased from 3.4 to 3.6 and up,
- 75 percent stipend criteria increased from 3.6 to 3.8 and up
Also in view of the possible fake reportings of students grades regulations to the rules have provisioned the fines and measures for schools and its officials.
