Whole lamb loin prices at the food markets are differing according to its size. For instance, At Khuchit Shonkhor market the whole lamb loin is ranging between MNT 150K-400K.

What is the average price for the loin?
The smallest with over 30 kg is around MNT 150K-170K, much bigger one with 40 kg is around MNT 250K, while big loins with bigger tail with over 50-60 kg is at MNT 400K.
How about the sales?
Compared to last year not much. I sell 5-6 loins per day. Hopefully this number will improve as the festivities approach.
Which loins are mostly sold?
Best selling ones are of MNY 150K anad MNT 250K. There are not many to sell and buy the loins for MNT 400K.
Have the prices increased compared to previous year?
Due to the excessive supply of meat this year the prices are lower compared to last year. For instance last year i was selling the loins for MNT 6000 per kilogram, while this year I sell for MNT 5000.
