(Ulaanbaatar) Jan 28, 3 millionth citizen of Mongolia was born four days ago. National Statistics Office just hold press conference on this event today at 11AM at the Government Building.
12:09 PM (Ulaanbaatar) The official ceremony to celebrate the 3 millionth citizen has started on this bright day.
First baby girl to father E.Khatanbold and mother G.Azzaya, natives of Dalanzadgad soum, Umnugobi aimag has been announced as the 3 millionth citizen of Mongolia. Baby girl was born on January 24th at 08:27AM and resgistered 73th birth of that day.
G.Shiilegdamba, Minister of Health and Sports, reported that both baby and mother are in good health. Baby girl is 3.5 kg and 50 cm.
10:28 AM (Ulaanbaatar) New addition to the population of Mongolia is traditionally announced by the President of Mongolia. President Ts.Elbegdorj waited for the Horse hour of the year of the Horse in order to deliver such joyful news to the public.
In 1988 2 millionth citizen has been announced by then State Leader J.Batmunkh.

In 1962 Mongolia registered its 1 millionth citizen, in 1988 2 millionth citizen and after 27 years Mongolia welcomes its 3 millionth citizen.
3 millionth citizen and contemporaries are to be given certificates and the baby to be identified as 3 millionth citizen is to be awarded with an apartment worth MNT 70 million. Contemporaries will be awarded with MNT 3 million.
