Today, "Additional loan agreement on constructing the New Ulaanbaatar International Airport" between the Government of Mongolia and the Japan International Cooperation Agency is to be discussed by Budget Standing Committee.
Construction of "New Ulaanbaatar International Airport" requires USD 560 million. Currently, USD 245 million had already been granted.
The Government of Mongolia requested additional loan worth USD 360 million from Japan International Cooperation Agency.
The additional loan will increase the debt ceiling. Thus, Debt Management Law needs to be approved urgently.
Project director, N.Enkhbat said that Construction of "New Ulaanbaatar International Airport" will be finished on 7th of January, 2017.
