Note: To start hiking at 11AM would be perfect due to weather condition as we. 12.30 PM was bit late as it was cold when we were going down from the mountain. Do not forget to pack enough water to drink.
We stopped for the lunch at 3PM. For the lunch, we purchased pork meat from the supermarket and we fried it. Besides, we brought meal, snacks and tea from our home.
Note: Do not forget to have light breakfast in the morning and bring hot tea from your home to warm up.
Our group members built a snowman while they were waiting for a lunch to be ready.
Note: There was snow everywhere at the mountain even thou it is a spring time. Therefore, do not forget to take sunglasses, wear waterproof boots and prepare extra socks.
After the lunch, we climbed down from the mountain and we reached the cave. Once that cave was crystal mine and now it has amazing shaped ice chunk inside. This cave is suitable for cooling off during hot weather.
Note: Going down is more difficult than climbing up. Thus, you should take mountain cane.
Terelj National Park is the most popular destination for both domestic and foreign tourists. Visitors can take leisurely strolls on meadows carpeted with edelweiss and a dazzling variety of other wild flowers, view fascinating rock formations against a backdrop of pine covered mountains and wander along the wooded banks of a mountain stream.
