Mongolia established diplomatic relations with Republic of France on 27th of April, 1965 and the ceremony dedicated to the anniversary was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Heads of Diplomatic Mission in Mongolia, senior diplomats and representatives from state and private entities which operate for strengthening the development of friendly relations and cooperation between Mongolian and Republic of France were invited to the ceremony.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs L.Purevsuren and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to Mongolia Mr Yves Delaunay opened the ceremony and delivered opening speeches.
"Relation between our two countries was established 800 years ago and emperors of Mongolia and France were sending missions between each other since ancient times." Copies of those missions were introduced at the ceremony.
"Modern relation between our two countries has been developing aggressively, especially in sectors of politics, energy, agriculture, defense and culture."
