Today, the Speaker of the Parliament Z.Enkhbold received representatives led by Bertrand Badre, Managing Director and World Bank Group Chief Financial Officer.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Speaker of the Parliament Z.Enkhbold expressed his gratitude to Mr. Bertrand Badre on the meeting and introduced the current situation of Mongolian economy.
Mr. Bertrand Badre expressed his gratitude to the Speaker of the Parliament Z.Enkhbold on receiving him and he noted that he arrived in Ulaanbaatar to get acquaint with the operation of the World Bank development work in Mongolia. Moreover, he suggested his proposal on how to overcome the economic difficulties and he clarified the three projects that is being approved by the State Great Khural.
The Speaker of the Parliament Z.Enkhbold said: "The State Great Khural approved Third Sustainable Livelihoods Project. The Government was obliged to change the content of Projects on Education, Health and e-Governance by not changing the name and amount. These projects will be approved soon. In addition, how the Office of the Government is operating the re-engineering was presented to Mr. Anderson, before. In the future, all government agencies will be implemented re-engineering. Therefore, some of these projects will support the implementation of the re-engineering."
This meeting was attended by the Head of Budget Standing Committee B.Bolor, the Head of the Economic Standing Committee J.Batsuuri, Economic Policy Advisor to the Speaker of the Parliament D.Lkhagvasuren and other officials.
