Ministers issue to be discussed through Plenary Session in October

Democratic Party (DP) has terminated its agreement made with Mongolian People's Party (MPP) and six ministers and seven deputy ministers of MPP have been dismissed. According to Ts.Munkhtur, Advisor to Prime Minister on Media and PR, the appointment of the new ministers is to be discussed through the Plenary Session of the State Great Khural in October.

Since the dismissal of six ministers the cabinet members were appointed as acting ministers according to the resolution of the Prime Minister issued on August 7th.

Although the appointment of the new ministers has been discussed Prime Minister postponed the issue until the Plenary Session of the State Great Khural to start in October as it takes time to negotiate with political parties, due to the current political situation.

Moreover, the Special session is currently discussing the Presidential veto on the Law of Pardoning.

The Advisor added that work related with new school year, crop collection and winter preparations is going on and ministers responsible are working to ensure the uninterruptedness of the works.
