Residents are giving positive feedbacks on introduction of smarts cards as the payment method for bus fee, and more than 70 percent of the passengers had already bought smart cards as of October 1, reported by the Finance and Economic Affairs Deputy of Capital City Governor N.Bataa.
According to the official statement by "Ulaanbaatar smart card" LLC, total of 449,400 smart cards were sold as of October 01.
Specifically, following number of different cards was purchased.
- Simple card – 274589,
- Children`s card (students of secondary school) – 65430,
- Elder`s card – 78151,
- Disabled resident`s card – 23836,
- Student card - 7594.
