In scope of Ger Area Housing Project, City Governor and Mayor E.Bat-Uul met with the directors of the construction companies and exchanged views with them.
Under Ger Area Housing Project, redevelopment program is being conducted with citizen participation and as of third quarter of 2015, 2744 meeting and training sessions with attendees of 77,260 citizens have been organized and as a result, 1099 city councils involving 21,983 citizens have been established.
Land redevelopment refers to establishing cooperation between landowners /citizens and legal entities/ and developers /companies/; landowners are able to invest into a project suggested by developers through their lands, whilst enhancing the land values by satisfying both parties' interests.
Temporary city councils involving 7241 citizens were established at 09 hectares of land in following khoroo(s) in order to implement Ger Area Housing Project through ger area redevelopment program.

- 13th khoroo of Suhbaatar district
- 27th khoroo of Bayanzurh district
- 23rd khoroo of Songinohairhan district

Majority of above citizens have submitted the proposal to build a house connected with infrastructure at their land while some residents interested to sell their land at suitable price or replace with housing. Therefore, voting whether to build house or housing at the land will be managed among every citizens.
Thus, City Mayor met with heads of construction companies and called for them to cooperate on this program. Moreover, he noted that citizens act as employers for the companies. Therefore, the company chosen by the citizen must respect their interests and requests on the planning and the city will provide necessary financial support in accordance with the law.
