As of first nine months of 2015, the debt balance of local bank loans reached to MNT 11.9 trillion, reported MP D.Demberel yesterday.
Bad loans are estimated as MNT 1.7 trillion, equal to 14 percent of the debt balance. As of December, 2014, the following number of people registered as borrower:
- 189 700 people have the pension loan worth MNT 355 billion
- 261 000 people have the salary loan worth MNT 1.4 trillion
- 66 300 people have the mortgage loan worth MNT 2.8 billion 2.8
- 73 900 people have the herder's loan worth MNT 53 billion, which says that the country as whole is under the pressure of the excessive amount of debt, outlined MP D.Demberel.
