Futsal championship Uzbekistan 2016 qualifiers to kick off tomorrow

14th Futsal Asian Championship Qualifiers will kick off with eastern group games tomorrow in Mongolia.

Today, November 13 – Tournament organizing officials have delivered information to journalists, as teams held press conference afterwards.

Jason Mutia, Event Commissioner of Asian Football Federation, led the meeting at Sport Complex of Buyant Ukhaa, during which teams’ kits and other necessary matters were finalized.

Afterwards, teams jointly held press conference. China and Republic of Korea teams are considered as favorites.

Namely, Korean team is under pressure to perform well, with newly appointed Iranian coach, after failing to participate successfully in the tournament for last few years. Top two teams from five in the group will be qualified for the championship to be held in Uzbekistan next year.

Teams are currently training at Sport Complex according to the schedule. We visited training sessions of Korean and Hong Kong teams and shot few photos.

The tournament will kick off officially tomorrow and continue until November 19, with games to be played at 17:00 pm and 20:00 pm respectively every day. Tickets are available at the Sport Complex and Mongolian Football Federation.
