GoGo Mongolia: Review of "Mongol Mind" section

With this section on our website we are aiming to introduce the many possibilities and opportunities Mongolia can offer despite all the negative light shed lately through the international media.

The focus will be given on the businesses run both by Mongolians and foreigners in Mongolia, on their success stories, challenges and what are their aspirations.

This year we featured following innovators. 

Specifically, 

On Mar 15, the first guest for our section to support Start-Up business in Mongolia was founder of Choi Hainzan brand Ch.Tsogtbayar. "Choi Hainzan" brand produces the first Mongolian wireless headphone, smart bracelets and watch with positioning system.

His interview delivered to 42.000 people and shared on facebook for 3400 times as well as received praise from many people. 

After his interview, the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj promised to support Choi Hainzan brand. In addition, his products are being sold at the biggest electroninc markets of Ulaanbaatar.

“CODE” Patisserie & Plus which offers you French taste and French atmosphere. We interviewed David Code, owner of the Code Patisserie & Plus. He discovered Mongolia from the TV show and decided to come here and opened the first French and handmade patisserie in UB. 

Their chief is also from France and we appreciate them to contributing fully handmade French tastes to UBiers.

“Diaper World” LLCmanufacturer of the cotton multi-use diapers. The diapers are produced using the high quality cotton keeps the fluid for two hours locked. Moreover, the main feature of this cloth diaper is that it is eco-friendly and produced in Mongolia.

Apart from the cloth diaper, they produce breast pads, potty pants (for 12 months old to 2 years old toddlers) blankets, sheet and many more.

We interviewed young Mongolian who works at International Strategic Development of Avex Group Holdings Inc, J.Bilguun. Avex became Japan's leading dance record company during the 1990s, and continues producing and recording some of Japan's most famous pop singers.

We aimed to bring out how is it to work in a big corporation and what aspirations Mongolian youth has in terms of personal growth and future dreams. We are introducing Bilguun Jargalsaikhan, son of a prominent author of Secret History of Chinggis Khaan novel.

Tourism was once considered as one of main approaches to boost economic development and even then, Ministry of Tourism paid a great deal of attention to the sector with goal of attracting 1 million tourists a year.

But we should rethink about what we have to show and entertain them. Despite not much enough to attract tourists and travelers, we can see from what “Treasury of Empire” project has done that we are still able to introduce uniqueness of our identity and especially to write new chapter in history.

Former International NGO employee and economist A.Namuun and costume, cashmere and wool knitting designer A.Sarnai jointly initiated the "Husug" brand which produce notebook and mobile phone cases, wallets, iPad and laptop cases, eyeglass cases with unique design and Mongolian pattern.
