ADB to implement three projects worth USD 7 million During the meeting between the President of ADB Takehiko Nakao and PM Ch.Saihanbileg on Sep 22, 2015

Today at 2pm, Minister of Finance B.Bolor and ADB Country Director Robert Schoellhammer to sign the projects, to be funded by the ADB. 

In 2016, ADB to finance following three projects:

  • “Integrated Livelihoods Improvement and Sustainable Tourism in Khuvsgul Lake National Park Project”,
  • “Improving School Dormitory Environment for Primary Students in Western Region Project”
  • “Preparing the Urban Development and Housing Project ” 

Total funding of these projects are worth USD 7 million and it will be provided by the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction as free grant. 

The signing ceremony will be attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Mongolia from Japan Mr.Takenori Shimizu, the Minister of Environment and Green Development N.Battsereg, the Minister of Education, Culture and Science L.Gantumur and Deputy Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city S.Ochirbat.
