Construction of New Ulaanbaatar International Airport is going normally at Hushigt valley, Sergelen soum, Tuv aimag. The new airport covers 1200 hectares of land.

Total of 120849.0 hectares of land was taken for special needs due to satellite city near airport and its infrastructure is needed to be planned.

Northern parts of special needs land covers the mountainous region which might compose land disputes when implementing integrated projects like Bogd Khan railway project.

Therefore the Governor of Tuv aimag was assigned to change coordinates of those 120849.0 hectares of land as well as not allowed to give it into ownership.
