Tengis cinema shows Turkish award wining films for free

Embassy of Turkey in Mongolia has been celebrating "Turkish Cultural Days" in Ulaanbaatar city during Apr 22-29. In scope of this event, international award wining films are being showed at Tengis cinema for free. 

On Apr 24 at 7pm: 





A Long Story (2012): 
A long story that started and ended at the station.
 


 


On Apr 26 at 7pm:

Vizontele (2001): The film is about the introduction of television to a small village in southeast Anatolia in 1974. Employing a tragicomic language, it tells of the efforts of Emin who is the village idiot and Nazmi who is the mayor of the village. Emin and Nazmi attempt to start the broadcasting of television in their village and face various difficulties in this process.


On Apr 27 at 7pm:

Incir Receli (2001): On a night of despair after being turned down continuously for the scripts he writes, Metin ends up in a bar where he meets a girl named Duygu. After spending the night together, she walks out in the morning before he wakes up and leaves only a short note. The next time they meet, Metin becomes curious about her secret and decides to follow her. What he finds out will be the beginning of an everlasting love.


On Apr 28 at 7pm:



Hunting Season (2010): The lives of three homicide detectives are turned upside-down during a murder investigation.


 


On Apr 29 at 7 pm:



Magic Carpet Ride (2005): 
A struggling, suicidal young comedian meets a car thief who is willing to teach him a few things about his profession.
