Mongolian Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg today received Kadir Topbas, Mayor of Istanbul of the Republic of Turkey, who is paying official visit to Ulaanbaatar at the invitation of E.Bat-Uul Mayor of Ulaanbaatar City and the Governor of the Capital City.
Ch.Saikhanbileg welcomed Mayor Kadir Topbas to Ulaanbaatar and expressed his hope this visit will open a page in two countries relations. Prime minister wished all the success in two mayors' cooperation and told the government will support their action.
Instanbul city has solved their air pollution, waste and water cleaning facilities and they are willing to share their experience with Ulaanbaatar city. Mayor of Istanbul Mr.Topbas said Istanbul and UB city administration can cooperate on many new projects, and underlined an interest to invest in different sectors.
During the meeting delegations discussed a cooperation on increasing the number of flights and agreed to research the possibilities of increasing current Turkish Airlines-MIAT joint flight numbers from three to five times a week.
