The cabinet  discussed Monday bills on ratifying credit agreements to be established with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on implementing a regional project on improving border services and on additional financing for a project on developing urban areas in southeastern Gobi region and borders. The bills will be submitted to parliament.

In frames of the project for upgrading border services, facilities and buildings of the Altanbulag, Bichigt and Zamyn-Uud border checkpoints and their automatic information system will be renewed. Moreover, preparations will be performed for one-window system of external trade.

When the projects are accomplished, trade actions are expected to become easier and accessible, and various necessary permissions and licenses will be available at one point. As a result, progress will be reached in saving time and expenses related to external trade actions and in raising competitiveness. Access to information on tax and customs will be faster as well.
