The Government of Japan presented an aid of equipment to The National Trauma and Orthopedic Research Center that worth 10 million yen.
In the scope of "Grassroot-Human safety program“ 141 types of equipment was given. Specifically:
- Patient bed
- Physical therapy equipment
- Surgeory table
- Patient table
- IV Pole equipment that worth 185 million Mongolian Tugrik.
The equipment was received last friday and ceremony was held yesterday. Officials and delegations from NTORC, Japanese Embassy and Grassroot project attended the ceremony.
"The Government of Japan renders various projects in health sector. We reach not only NTORC but also rural communities. In the future we will strive to reach and help many more hospitals. I believe our support in health sector is a way of helping Mongolian people" says Mr Minoru Kikuchi, advisor to Embassy of Japan in Mongolia.
