Ministry of Foreign affairs' 'International cooperation foundation' and 'Canadian International Resources and Development Institute" are co-organizing international workshop on 'Governmental role in mega resources projects' between May 15-18 at the 'Concession' hall at Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During this workshop, participating countries' delegations will share their experience on governmental role to successful mega mining projects and discuss policies and solutions to solve the many challenges.
The workshop is attended by specialists from Ministries of Mining of Afghanistan, Kyrgyz, Laos, Myanmar and Mongolian along with agencies and executives of state owned corporations.
Delegations will visit and take study tour at the Oyu Tolgoi mine site.
