In frames of "Smart Ulaanbaatar" program UB IT department starts implementing "Connecting Ulaanbaatar To Wireless Internet“ project. The project will create wireless internet zone in 155 locations in 151 khoroos' of 9 capital districts and provide free-of-charge wireless internet service to citizens.
D.Battulga, Chairman of the Capital city People's Representative Khural, addressed the project opening ceremony "A project to connect all khoroos of capital to wifi internet commences. Previously, citizens had to go to their respective district authorities and file grievances to get public services. But now we have centralized public service offices at Dunjingarav, Misheel and Dragon centers. By implementing this project, people will be able to connect to internet and get necessary public service, without having to go to khoroo office."
First wave of the project will be implemented in some khoroos of Khan-Uul, Songinokhairkhan, Sukhbaatar and Bayanzurkh districts as test run and will be fully operational in 155 locations within June 2016. Having access to these wifi internet, people will receive fast public services, get informed and deliver any grievance to city administration directly.
In order to connect to these wireless internet, people will have to use their wifi supporting device near to their closest khoroo "UBWiFi" network. You can use your previous online land ownership registration information to connect to these wifi internet.
