Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Mongolia H.E. Suresh Babu presented his diplomatic credentials to the President of Mongolia H.E. Ts.Elbegdorj. President Ts.Elbegdorj received Ambassador Suresh Babu after credentials presentation.
President expressed his satisfaction on the two countries' successful enhancement of relations based on common grounds in cultural, spirtual, historical and democracy values, as well as regional and world peace,
Additionally, president Ts.Elbegdorj appreciated the enhancement of bilateral cooperation in defense sector and increased number of high level visits between the countries. The two countries' defense ministry relations expanded, and many experience sharing meeting, as well as joint peace keeping training, cyber crime workshop were organized, noted the president.
"The inter-governmental $1 billion soft loan agreement between Mongolia-India is a proof of broad partnership between Mongolia-India. This is a sign of Indian government promoting Mongolia's socio-economic development, and friendly relations of the two countries" highlighted President Ts.Elbegdorj.
In turn, Ambassador Suresh Babu said he is deeply satisfied with improving bilateral relations and will continue to contribute to strengthen the relations.
At the end of the meeting, President Ts.Elbegdorj expressed his hopes of high level participation from India in the upcoming ASEM Summit and wished all the best in his work and health.
