President of the Republic of South Korea Park Geun Hye will pay an official visit and attend the forthcoming 11th ASEM Summit in Ulaanbaatar. Also 109 reputable Korean companies' representatives are part of the president's visit to Mongolia.
Specifically, South Korean giants such as LG Electronics, Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor, Hanwha are among the list. Additionally, representatives of 62 small and medium companies, 73 entities and 36 state owned institutions are visiting Mongolia.
From these companies and institutions, 18 of them operate in biotechnology and health sector, 16 in raw material and retail sector, 12 in automobile and equipment sector, 6 in industry and engineering sector and 4 companies in energy sectors.
South Korean press and media highlights “this visit is definitely one of the biggest composition of official visit abroad by South Korean president.”
In scope of the visit, sides will discuss and hold official talks on bilateral cooperation in energy, health, trade and investment, infrastructure sectors, as well as building new power plant and sign cooperation agreements, reports Korean press and media.
The two countries’ trade revenue reached $292 million last year.
