Farewell ceremony for Mongolian Olympic Team to be held tomorrow at Chinggis square at 11AM.
During the ceremony, uniforms for the Rio 2016 Olympics, state flag and donations will be handed over to the athletes.
President Ts.Elbegdorj, Prime Minister, MPs, Mongolian National Olympic Committee, Ministry of Health and Sports, Olympic Development Fund and Olympic medalists to attend the ceremony.
Following the opening remarks of PM J.Erdenebat, representatives of athletes, judoka D.Sumiya and boxer D.Otgondalai, to take an oath.
International Master B.Temuulen was selected as flag bearer for Mongolia.
Olympic champion, Board member of the Olympic Development Fund, Labor Hero of Mongolia and State Honored Athlete, E.Badar-Uugan:
"Due to time zone, our judokas and boxers to leave Mongolia for Brazil on Jul 24. 42 athletes to compete for Rio 2016 Olympics from Mongolia is showing the development and achievement of our nation. More than 60 people to march at the Olympic Stadium. It is a great pride for us.
I would like to express my gratitude to the Mongolian Olympic Team, state agency and all Mongolians. I would like to call for people to see off the athletes tomorrow. I wish Mongolian athletes will raise the national flag in the skies of Rio Olympic Games"
