Prime Minister J.Erdenebat presented today (July 20) the bills on amending the laws on Government Structure and the Composition of Cabinet to the Chairman of the State Great Khural (Parliament) M.Enkhbold.
The bills set out that the new cabinet will have 16 members, including the Prime Minister, Deputy PM, Minister of Mongolia, head of Cabinet Secretariat and the affiliated ministers. The ministers are the Ministers of the Environment and Tourism, Foreign Affairs, Finance, Justice and Domestic Affairs, Labor and Social Welfare, Defense, Construction and Urban Development, Education Culture Sciences and Sports, Road and Transport, Mining and Heavy Industry, Food Agriculture and Light Industry, Energy, and of Health.
Newly prepared draft of the Parliamentary resolution on “Re-designating the system of state administrative bodies and renewing the organizational structure outlines that the Government will have 10 regulatory and 17 implementing agencies, which has not any change compared to the previous government.
The merged agencies on taxation and customs will be separated again as the General Taxation Department and the General Customs Authority. Also, the General Agency for State Registration and Statistics will be divided into National Statistics Office and the General Authority for State Registration and Intellectual Property, in accordance with the draft bills.
