Flood warnings due to rain showers

Residents and herders are warned on possible floods due to the rain showers on Aug 9th in Western region, Aug 10th in most regions and Aug 11th in Northern region.

In addition, National Emergency Management Agency announced following warnings today due to water level have reached critical level. 

  • Do not drink too much alcahol near water 
  • Do not stay or spend the night near river 
  • Use safe and secure bridges 
  • Do not let children to play nearby river alone
  • Take extra caution near rivers
