Mongolists study Mongolians with different mentality and judgment

100 years ago, livestock products accounted for 76 percent of herder household income while it has decreased to 30 percent, noted by Mongolists.

According to the study conducted by Russian scientist Ivan Michailovich Maisky in 1918, an annual income of Mongolian average household was RUB 596 and expenditure was RUB 585. If we translate to current values of money, it is equivalent to MNT 15 million.

100 years ago, Mongolians were 100 percent dependent on livestock farming. Currently, one out of three households are farmer.

More than 400 Mongolists from 29 countries have attended the 11th International Congress of Mongolists under the theme of "Mongol Studies and Sustainable Development".

Scientists have delivered speeches on five sectors including Mongolian language, Mongolian history, Mongolian culture and literature, Mongolian society and economy and Mongolian foreign affairs.
