Former Prime Minister declares to run for president

Former Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag stated that he will be running for president at a press conference at Tuushin Hotel  on November 9. He also regrets that the Mongolian People’s Party “is taking a step back from its promises and attempting to declare its authority on every instance of governance”.

Altankhuyag Norov was appointed the Prime Minister of Mongolia in 2012, until he was ousted from the position by the DP (Democratic Party) he belongs to late 2014.

N.Altankhuyag is the first politician so far to announce own candidacy to the presidential election of Mongolia of 2017.
