The biggest Mongolian outdoor live music festival “PLAYTIME 2017” is set to be held at Gachuurt village, Hotel Mongolia camp on 7,8,9 July.
Tickets are available on sale starting today at Hi-Fi records located south east of State Department store and Orange records located 5th floor of State Department store. The prices for the three-day pass are MNT 50 thousand while first 1000 three-day passes will be sold at MNT 40 thousand.
The festival aims to develop modern music of Ulaanbaatar city, live music lovers to enjoy their free time in fresh air during the summer in an environmentally friendly way and to improve music education of youth by introducing new and the best bands of Mongolia and abroad.
Over the past fifteen years, the festival presented more than 500 music groups and drawn 40,000 people to the festival. The festival has grown its scale from a local live music festival to an international festival since 2013 and presented headliner international music groups at the festival including Peter Hook & The Light (UK), The Pains of Being Pure at Heart (USA), Mono (Japan), Envy (Japan) Mumiy Troll (Russia) and The Radio Dept (Sweden).
This year, Japanese indie rock band, The Fin chosen as a headliner band of the first day.
