On 6th of June, election campaigns of presidential candidates commenced nationwide and it will end on 24th of June, a day prior to election day. In regards, three presidential candidates have started to carry out their campaign activities.
M.ENKHBOLD: CRISIS AND SPLITS ARE MY MAIN CONTESTANTS
The presidential candidate of ruling party Mongolian People`s Party (MPP), M.Enkhbold delivered a speech at Independence Palace, opening his election campaign and he stated;
"People of Mongolia believe in me. I see Mongolia as one family. I can`t stand seeing this family to get a divorce and split. Thus, I will strive for a united family. I recognized that people want a powerful President. However, it means not physically powerful. People truly want the head of state who works comply with the law.
I will create an environment for people which enabled them to live happily anywhere in the country. I will be President who shares social wellbeing to the people. I will strengthen the friendly relations between neighbor countries. I will be President who prioritizes Mongolia`s interest at first and finds a solution rather than halting any projects. I am nominating for the President of Mongolia in order to become a guard of Mongolian Independence. Crisis and splits are the main contestants to me. My goal is to overcome the crisis and stop split. A political stability will lead sustainable Tugrik rate".
Following, he will pay official visits to all provinces of Mongolia to meet voters.
S.GANBAATAR: WE HAVE HEARTS THAT BEAT FOR MONGOLIA AS WELL AS POLICIES AND PLANS
Meanwhile, presidential candidate of Mongolian People`s Revolutionary Party (MPRP), which holds one seat in the Parliament, S.Ganbaatar`s election campaign takes place in Sukhbaatar square. The former President of Mongolia and chairman of MPRP N.Enkhbayar, MPRP members, and his supporters gathered at the square to support him. Presidential candidate S.Ganbaatar stated:
"We are the owner of the country, not the slaves. We have a plan to establish a healthy state. We gathered here today to stop the ruling two parties` deal and to demand responsibilities from them. We will establish a state which hears public opinions. MPP and MPRP have money and followers. However, we have solutions and faith. We have hearts that beat for Mongolia as well as policies, and plans".
KH.BATTULGA: DEVELOPING MONGOLIA WITH OTHER`S PLAN IS A FOOLISHNESS
Presidential candidate of Democratic Party (DP) Kh.Battulga commenced his election campaign from Hentii province, which regarded as the birthplace of Chinggis Khan. First, he visits Hentii Hospital to meet with staffs, doctors, and patients.
He stated;
"At that time when DP was ruling the state, we started the construction of this hospital. The salary of teachers and doctors working in rural areas are low. It is almost impossible for them to handle their social issues. Thus, I will focus on providing housing to doctors and teachers who have worked in rural areas for many years. Moreover, I will consider again the retirement age.
As an independent country, Mongolia should have its own development policy, projection, and program. We will work to develop long-term, friendly and mutually beneficial relations with our neighbor countries. However, I would say that developing Mongolia with other countries` plan is a foolishness".
