Under the initiative of the Spouses of Heads of Missions (SHOM) in Bangkok, a children’s book entitled “25 Folktales from Around the World” has been published in Thai and English languages with the support and assistance of the Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Thailand, YWCA of Bangkok, Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, SCG Packaging, Central Group, Siam Piwat Group, Bangkok Bank and Plan for Kids.

The children’s book contains folktales of high educational and moral values from 25 countries including Mongolia and beautiful illustrations to the stories were drawn by children of schools across the Kingdom. All folktales were selected by spouses of heads of missions accredited in Bangkok and each of the stories will provide a chance for Thai children to explore and understand more about the world around them, as well as to enhance their imagination and creativity. The Mongolian Embassy in Bangkok has provided a famous Mongolian folktale “Erkhii Mergen” to include in the book. Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/
