ULAANBAATAR (GoGo Mongolia) - Mongolian peacekeepers led by D.Enkhbaatar on the operations by United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) stopped the armed robbers who broke into the refugee camp on the night of Oct 15-16 by seriously injuring three people and were about to attack lives and properties of civilians.
The peacekeepers performed medical first aid to the three seriously injured people and saved their lives.
Mongolian peacekeepers have a duty to ensure the safety of 120 thousand people in a domestic refugee camp, located in Bentiu city, distribution of World Food Program, patrols, civilians and officials of UN and other international organizations.
