The Bank of Mongolia (BoM) concluded the three-month Mongol Alt campaign on November 3, 2017. To mark the campaign's end, the BoM thanked representatives from the state and the private sector who contributed to the campaign's success and presented them with gifts.
Mongol Alt focused on raising awareness about the central bank's gold purchasing program, its rules and standards, by hosting public training and information sessions. The BoM also worked with the National Police Agency to provide the public with information about the consequences of illegally transporting gold and other industry regulations.
