Agricultural Commodity Exchange reports on last week's trade

Two days of trade took place last week for the Agricultural Commodity Exchange (ACE).

Ninety-eight tons of goat wool was traded for 1,220 MNT per ton, 24.1 tons of unprocessed light wool was traded for 62,800 MNT per ton, and 7.6 tons of dark wool was traded as well.

The ACE's MAPIX index has grown by 17.9 percent since the beginning of 2017. The increase has been affected by increased prices for wool, which makes up over 80 percent of the ACE's trade. The price of brushed dark wool increased by 21,000 MNT to reach 129,000 MNT per ton, and brushed light wool increased by 21,000 MNT to reach 131,000 MNT per ton.
