Mongolia received the Borrower of the Year and Best Mongolia Deal awards from Finance Asia for its Khuraldai Bond, and the Best Deals award from The Asset’s annual Triple A Awards.
The Khuraldai Bond was released on the international market in March 2017, when J. Erdenebat was prime minister. Financial analysts say that the bond has contributed to improving the nation’s economy.
Chairman of Parliament’s State Budget Standing Committee B. Choijilsuren accepted the awards and said, “Despite all the obstacles we are facing, our economy is still going forward. Our economy is integrating with the global economy. We can overcome adversities, see economic recovery, and boost investment.”
