Parliament voted to endorse the Constitutional Court’s report for January 2018 after a review on February 8.
The Constitutional Court of Mongolia reported that the Law on Defense had articles which grant additional rights besides being a commander in chief of the armed forces to the president that violate the constitution.
Parliament also agreed to review amendments to the Law on Combating Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing and other bills, and to conduct a final review of amendments to the Law on Deposit Account Insurance.
