The American Center for Mongolian Studies (ACMS) is a private, non-profit educational organization that supports academic projects and exchanges in Mongolia and the Inner Asian region, which includes Mongolia and the neighboring areas of China, Russia and Central Asia.
The ACMS is looking for an Accountant (Part-time), who will:
- Prepare all necessary tax and financial reports
- Manage petty cash transactions and payroll
- Ensure that current copies of all invoices, bills and financial statements have been received and filed appropriately
- Enter financial information from Mongolia operations into the approved financial management software
- Oversee the financial management of Mongolian scholarships and related reports and documentation
Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this position will be a motivated professional with a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university, knowledgeable of Mongolian finance and tax systems, fluent in Mongolian and good English (written and spoken), and the ability to work well with a team. Experience with QuickBooks is preferred.
