According to the Financial Regulatory Commission (FRC), in its efforts to digitize the receipt and resolution process for grievances, it is working to establish a networked online database.
As of 2017, 268 grievances from financial services consumers were received, a 39.6 percent increase compared to the previous year.
FRC officials believe that an online database will be important in helping to make the processing of grievances more efficient and less time consuming. The FRC will be working with officials from the Bank of to draft a law on protecting financial consumers’ rights.
