Financed from the USD 42 million soft loan of People’s Republic of China, the construction of a bridge near the Traffic Police Authority and National Amusement Park is expected to commence on April 1. Accordingly, the Road Development Authority has informed that the road will be closed for a year and half.
The road closure will be placed 50 meters from the intersection near the unfinished Hilton Hotel and north-side of Home Plaza Shopping Mall. The initial implementation period of the project was 2.5 years; however, the Road Development Authority plans to increase the number of technicals and workforce to accelerate the construction to be finished in 1.5 years.
With the closure of the road, the road-load near Jargalan, Bayangol, Dunjingarav and Stars towns will indubitably increase. The load-shifting solution is currently unknown as the related authority informed that it is planning to conclude the concept with professional organizations during the Cabinet’s meeting. The early plan includes to construct underpass, pedestrian and bicycle crossing in the route.
Furthermore, the project includes to construct an additional concrete bridge in the east side of the bridge, close to Dunjingarav town. The officials also notified that the public transportation route will remain unchanged and an additional route is in plan for establishment, and the exact route will be discussed during the Cabinet’s meeting. Additionally, sources claim that Just Oil LLC, Shunkhlai LLC and Tavan Bogd Trade LLC will co-implement the construction development
