The Government of Mongolia will host the 2018 Asian Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction on July 3 through 6, in Ulaanbaatar, in partnership with the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction.
In preparation for the conference, the 2018 International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (ISDR) Asia Partnership Meeting will be held on April 24 to 25.
The National Emergency Management Agency has reported that over 120 delegations from international organizations and foreign governments, including Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, the PRC, and North Korea, will be taking part in this meeting to finalize the ministerial conference agenda and to exchange views on documents to be negotiated.
