On May 24, Minister of Labor and Social Welfare S. Chinzorig held a press conference with Director of the Country Office for China and Mongolia of the International Labor Organization (ILO) Claire Courteille-Mulder, Executive Director of the Mongolian Employers’ Federation Kh. Ganbaatar, and President of the Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions Kh. Amgalanbaatar.
Minister S. Chinzorig noted that the Government of Mongolia approved a state policy on employment in 2016, as part of Mongolia's Sustainable Development Vision 2030.
He highlighted, “Cabinet has been implementing projects to increase employment opportunities in remote and less economically-developed areas, and to ensure equal opportunities for employment for women and people living with disabilities.” Courteille-Mulder stated, “We are planning to implement various activities in collaboration with relevant parties, and to focus on the future labor environment."
