On June 26, a national consultation on Mongolia’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be held at the State Palace.
During the consultation, participants will discuss ways to improve the consistency of mid and short-term SDG policy in various sectors, strengthen mechanisms for undertaking policy actions in stages, and create an appropriate financial monitoring and evaluation system to ensure the implementation of Mongolia's SDGs. International organization officials and non-governmental organization representatives will take part in the consultation. Parliament approved Mongolia’s Sustainable Development Vision 2030 in 2016, and Cabinet set a list of criteria for the SDGs the same year.
