Deputy Chairman of Mongolia-Russia parliamentary caucus requests Mongolia’s transit to be passed through Far East

On August 3, Deputy Chairman of Mongolia-Russia caucus in the Parliament, B. Enkh-Amgalan received Chairman of the Legislative Duma of Khabarovsk Krai of the Russian Federation Sergey Lugovskoy. Khabarovsk Krai is located in the Far Eastern economic region of Russia, known for its petroleum, fuel, energy, metallurgical, and agricultural production.

During the meeting, Deputy Chairman B. Enkh-Amgalan noted the recently approved bilateral agreement on rail freight tariff discounts and requested consideration of the possibility of directing Mongolia’s transit through the Far East in the future.
