On August 25, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yi attended the groundbreaking ceremony for a new wastewater treatment plant to be constructed in Ulaanbaatar with soft loan financing from China.
During the ceremony, Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh stated, “It is gratifying that we are strengthening comprehensive strategic relations between the two nations realistically, a point discussed when we paid an official visit to China in April.” Foreign Minister Wang noted, “We will complete the project on time and hand it over to Mongolia, as planned.”
