Mongolian People’s Party group in the parliament hold meeting today and discussed 3 issues.
Mongolian People’s Party’s Caucus D.Togtokhsuren said “Minister of Justice made a report about torturing defendants of S.Zorig murder case. Related to this, it is considered that video of torturing defendants should be shown to public due to violation of human rights in Mongolia which is democratic country. And the issue should be considered in parliamentary level. The decision of showing to public will be made by the government session”.
Next issue was to assign new Deputy Chief to the General Prosecutor’s Office due to current Deputy Chief authority expires. The issue resolution was postponed due to torturing case of Zorig defendants considering to resolve first.
As for the issue of Independent Authority Against Corruption of Mongolia’s Deputy Director, it was also postponed due to legal conflict issues.
