The sixth international conference “Ulaanbaatar talks” under topic of Northeast Asian Security begins today in Novotel hotel.
The conference is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Relation and Institute for Strategic Studies and will last for two days.
Representative from Mongolia, Russia, China, South Korea, North Korea, Japan, USA, Germany, Great Britain, France, India, Australia, Canada, Sweden and Switzerland are attending the conference. Also United Nation, European Union and International Red Cross Society are participating. Over 20 foreign press agencies have registered.
Following topics will be discussed during the conference:
• Opportunities of Northeast Asian Security, challenges
• Cooperation and dynamics of Regional countries
• Perspectives on energy cooperation
• Youth participation on peace and security
One of the main topics is “Establish energy network involving Northeast Asia by consuming solar and wind energy resource in Mongolia” initiated by President of Mongolia.
