Reindeer festival in July

Annual “Reindeer festival” will take place on July 6-7 at Dalai Tour tourist camp, located on the west shore of Khusvgul lake. 

The purposes of the festival are to expand tourism operations, promote unique culture and customs of reindeer herders, spread tradition of Darkhad reindeer herder shamans, improve living standards of locals and increase their income. 

During the festival, tourists are available to see reindeer race, meet reindeer herder families and their lifestyle, and take photos together. The festival takes place at tourist camp, owned by “Mon Travel” LLC, located in Khuvsgul lake shore.
