Intensive milk farming project under cooperation of Belarus

On December 6 in Minsk, Mongolian Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry and Belarusian Ministry of Agriculture and Food Ministry signed an agreement on cooperation to build a diary cluster in Mongolia.

T.Jambaltseren, acting State Secretary of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia, and Anatoly Khotko, Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus, signed on the agreement.

In last years, amount of Mongolian livestock has increased and it impacts on graze capacity and development of agriculture by crop yields and fertility loss.

Related to this, Mongolian government approved national program on intensive livestock farming in January 2019.

In framework, a joint working group has been set up to implement a project to establish several milk clusters with 600 cows in Mongolia with funding of export loan between the Governments of Mongolia and Republic of Belarus.
