A.Ambaselmaa, Head of Surveillance Department of NCCD gave following information today.
Currently, 12 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Mongolia. Last two cases were found from Istanbul-UB flight dated March 18. The infection was confirmed by tests dated March 26 and 28.
Epidemiological studies have shown that the two infected people who arrived through Istanbul flight have no connections and their source is external.
The world recent study was made between 74 patients, and they were resulted positive after 14-27 days of isolation. Therefore, isolation period is 21 days now.
It means two patients who were recovered will be tested 7, 14, 21 and 28th days, and they will be under hospital monitoring.
